IKM has been filming a series on our rich and valuable Khoisan heritage. Filming has taken place thus far in Richtersveld, the Kalahari Desert, the West Coast, three sites in the Klein Karoo, the Cederberg Wilderness Area, Golden Gate, the Cape Peninsula, and the !Kuiseb River Delta in Namibia where the last of the Topnaar people live. What now remains is a final shoot where Dr Odendaal who was team leader for the National Khoisan Hertiage Route Baseline Study for the Department of Arts & Culture, will take a group of young people on a route that will reveal much of the Khoisan heritage.
